We got these tags in the post yesterday to replace the ones the company got wrong. Gonna actually get on with some shirts soon. These tags r printed with sparkly multicolor thread!

I’ve started work for a website for I_IZ_ to live on. For those who dont know I_IZ_ is a kind of tshirt/stuff retail/not project owned by Carla and I. It generally exists to be very free but make things. We are going to start with t-shirts because it is a great platform/canvas for ideas, but would like it to be a kind of idea publishing platform. A place to collate things that have been made to be desseminated; tshirts, fabrics, essays, books, zines, records, etc… The idea is not to have too much of one.

Anyhow here is the skin of the site:

It works only when the user mouseovers things. It is bright and strange, and we find it fun. Total freedom for us.

Anyhow what I think I am going to do is to use the need of a custom backend as a reason to get my first CakePHP project completed. This way I will be better motivated to do the code as the end product will be useful, and I will get more practical production skillz.
